Couponed meals

One of the most common questions I get asked in regards to my coupons is, can you really feed a family by buying with coupons?
In a word, yes.

Recently I showed you one of my coupon-ed meals with the breakdown of the cost. Here's another one.

Lunch yesterday...
This came in at $0.35 per serving, and here is the break down

2 boxes of Betty Crocker Loaded au gratin potatoes--- Free after coupons
1 package of Hill Shire Farms Hardwood smoked chicken sausage- $1.50 after coupon
1 bag frozen broccoli- $1.00 after cpn
Milk (for potatoes) $0.35
Butter (for potatoes) $0.11
Cheese $0.50
Total  $3.46
It serves 10, so it comes out to $0.346..rounded up is $0.35 a serving.

It's kind of hard to argue with that math..

'Til next time!
